Alcina de Oliveira Alves, CCA ONTIER'S Associate of the TMT Department, wrote an opinion piece for Observador on the online gaming industry in particular, the Portuguese market and the demystification of the activity in a regulated environment.
'Licensed online gaming entities, and like any other private companies, have a primary purpose, which is to make a profit, in this case through the provision of entertainment services. In order to achieve profit, there are rules to be followed, it is necessary to satisfy customers, and also to look after the good name of the brands under which they operate', says Alcina de Oliveira Alves.
