CCA ONTIER has just appointed Rita Trabulo, a lawyer at CCA ONTIER, as the new Managing Associate of the Startinnovation Team. The fact that Rita has extensive experience in M&A in the startup area, together with her well-known management and leadership skills, led to this decision. Rita held, until now, the position of Managing Associate of the Corporate Department.
According to Domingos Cruz, Managing Partner, «this appointment is an acknowledgment of the excellent work Rita has provided our clients, namely Startups and SMEs, a reality that has been growing in recent years. Precisely because we have to deal with increasingly complex operations and given the experience that Rita accumulated in these areas, we made the M&A area autonomous within Startups. Our goal is to build a reference team, capable of providing an excellent response to the challenges that are thrown at us every day by the entrepreneurial ecosystem».
Rita Trabulo has a proven 13 years’ experience in legal advice to companies in the corporate and M&A area with a focus on the representation of institutional investors and investment funds, namely assistance in various corporate operations, foreign investments, financing operations, purchase and sale operations. Rita also provides tax legal advice with a corporate and international focus, monitoring and managing various projects with Portuguese and foreign clients and investors.
