Camila Marques de Queiroz reflects on the current situation at work and how to avoid technostress and cybermobbing

How is rapid technological evolution, driven by Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality and the Metaverse, transforming the labour market and affecting employees' lives, bringing both benefits and risks to mental health and safety?

In an opinion article for RH Magazine, Camila Marques de Queiroz, Associate in the Labour Department at CCA Law Firm, explains how the use of this type of technology and the rapid technological evolution results in gaps in the investigation of the risks associated with the implementation of these tools and, consequently, in legal gaps that anticipate and regulate this new reality.

‘This evolution, (...) especially with regard to the health and safety of employees, must be accompanied by legislative development, and it is crucial that the competent authorities, employers and employees collaborate to mitigate these risks and guarantee a safe and healthy working environment, accompanying technological progress in a responsible and sustainable manner’, says the lawyer.
