Domingos Cruz, CCA Law Firm Managing Partner, was a keynote speaker at the 1st edition of the Iberian Lawyer Legal Day, a CCA-sponsored event that brought together lawyers and compliance officers to discuss the main challenges currently experienced in communication between the in-house legal services and the firms and lawyers that provide external legal advice.
One of the conclusions reached highlights the need for and importance of more frequent and improved communication between the two parties; allowing, on the one hand, in-house legal departments to convey a more accurate and precise message of what they really need to law firms that advise them, and on the other hand, firms to better understand the business for which they provide legal support.
