Domingos Cruz, CCA ONTIER's Managing Partner, spoke to Iberian Lawyer about the benefits of global uncertainty for Portugal and the Portuguese market. Political stability helps international investment, but not only. According to the lawyer the flow of transactions increased with business in the technology sector, with values ranging between 10 and 15 million.
He adds that Portugal is benefiting from the global uncertainty regarding Brexit, US President Donald Trump and the political situation in Catalonia. 'Portugal is seen as a safe haven, there is stability, and Portuguese bonds are no longer seen as garbage,' says Domingos Cruz.
