"The European elections and the fight against fake news" is the latest opinion piece by João Tornada, Associate of the Department of Litigation & Arbitration and Public Department of the CCA, for the Observador. The misinformation and lack of transparency of the current political propaganda are the central focus of an article that intends to alert to the importance of promoting media literacy.
"In the long run, we will only be able to eliminate misinformation with quality information, teaching citizens to face the news in a critical way", says João Tornada.
