Madalena Azeredo Perdigão, an Associate Coordinator of CCA’s Real Estate Department, writes an opinion piece for Diário Imobiliário on the creation of anti-money laundering and terrorist financing measures, which since 2017 have been transforming the real estate sector, in order to make it more secure and transparent.
For the CCA's Real Estate Department Coordinator, "it is through these tighter control mechanisms in the industry that we can have a more transparent and better regulated real estate market, which allows for greater confidence and security in the system by those who invest in it and who is financing it".
