Maria Santa Martha, Partner and Coordinator of CCA's Porto office, writes an opinion piece for Advocatus-ECO on "the path that will follow" after the stop caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and its effects on the national economy, which is expected to have caused one of the biggest economic crises in the history of Portugal, with estimates pointing to a drop in GDP between 7% and 11% in 2020.
"The path that will follow will surely be turbulent, uncertain and risky and, for this reason, markets, businesses, and people should immediately start to learn, to prepare themselves and, finally, to act dynamically to try to seize the opportunities created by this new reality", states the Partner.
