Ransomware is currently one of the main problems of the modern Internet, affecting both individual users and large companies. However, it is the response to these incidents that defines the strength of organizations after an attack. As part of the forum organized by IT Security, with the support of WatchGuard Technologies, Martim Bouza Serrano, CCA's Partner and Head of the TMT department, shares his opinion on the subject of cyber threats and their exponential increase in attacks against organizations.
"Cyberattacks cannot be solved by law and there is no appropriate legal solution. From a legal point of view, what will have the most impact will be the internal policies of employees. What I feel is that IT lives very much inside IT itself; training the teams is essential, but it's also essential to include the IT activity itself in the whole structure. We often find companies that, although they have written policies, these are not properly disseminated within the organization, and no one knows about it", comments the CCA Partner.
