Pedro Antunes, CCA ONTIER's Associate Coordinator of the Labor and Social Security Department, in statements to ECO-Advocatus commented on the formation, on January 29th, of the first Union of Portuguese Lawyers for a term of three years.
'I think that the main objective of creating this union, rather than defending or promoting the dignity and prestige of lawyers, at this time, will be to represent and defend the professional, economic and social interests of its members, participating in the drafting of legal diplomas that affect directly the lawyers, 'says Pedro Antunes.
