Pedro Antunes, Coordinator of the Labor Department at CCA ONTIER, in statements to Advocatus, explains the civil requisition mechanism for the nurses’ strike, now approved by the Government.
"The extent of the civil requisition is not yet known, since we were informed of the approval of a resolution of the Council of Ministers, acknowledging the need for civil requisition to the nurses on strike; and in order for the requisition to take place there must be an ordinance of the Council of Ministers that determines its scope of application", underlines Pedro Antunes.
