Pedro Antunes, CCA ONTIER's Associate Coordinator of the Labor and Social Security Department, has written an opinion piece for Human Resources on Portuguese labor legislation regarding sexual harassment.
'The legislator could and should have gone further by setting certain objective limits, since the law currently in force leaves the victims in the same abyss in which they already lived, as regards proof of harassment. It should have established more comprehensive protection, as in the case of compliance policies, where autonomous and anonymous complaints channels have been established, which has allowed human resources to act internally against such illegal behavior', says Pedro Antunes.
