Pedro Antunes talks about the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the future of the labour market

News

Artificial Intelligence is no longer a future trend but an unavoidable reality in the labour market. But how can companies and their employees prepare for this new scenario?

In an opinion article for RH Magazine, Pedro Antunes, Partner in CCA's Employment practice, explains how the rapid development of AI imposes the need to invest in digital literacy and organisations must adapt to a new regulatory paradigm. The entry into force of the EU Regulation on Artificial Intelligence, on August 1, 2024, reinforces the urgency of strategic measures, especially for Human Resources departments, which must lead the implementation of continuous training programmes and ensure compliance with the new guidelines.

“AI literacy goes beyond simple knowledge of tools. It is about a comprehensive understanding of the technology, from its operation and types to its ethical, legal and social implications. Adaptation is not a one-off project, but an ongoing process that will guarantee companies' competitiveness and innovation,” says Pedro Antunes.
