Rita Cruz, CCA ONTIER's partner, in statements to Advocatus by ECO, comments on the state of advocacy in terms of representation and gender parity in top positions.
According to the Partner, the scenario will change briefly for two reasons: 'the first is that only now societies of lawyers (at least the largest and oldest ones) are making their generational change in the top places (...) and the second is that only recently law firms - aided by new technologies - are adopting practices that confer malleability and flexibility to the practice of the profession'.
