The context of the epidemiological situation caused by COVID-19 imposed the implementation of several contingency measures, namely the banning until 17th April of air traffic to and from Portugal from all flights to and from non-EU countries.
A Recommendation of the EU Council was published on 30th June 2020, followed by a joint dispatch by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of National Defense, the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Minister of Health and the Deputy Secretary of State for Communications, providing guidelines regarding air traffic.
