Law 56/2023 which enacts a number of measures on housing matters implementing the "Mais Habitação" programme, was published in the Official Gazette on 6 October 2023. The law sets forth measures aimed at promoting and ensuring access to housing properties, amending several laws.
Said law entered into force on the day following its publication, i.e. 7 October 2023.
