Joana is a Principal Associate in the Public Law department, having joined the firm in 2024 and she worked in the Oporto office. She has developed her professional experience both in litigation - with a special focus on pre-contractual litigation - and in providing legal advice to public and private entities in the context of public procurement, as well as in the context of financial liability proceedings and decisions to return public/EU funding.
She also provides legal advice on environmental law issues, specifically on environmental licensing and sectoral regulation - especially in matters related to waste management and water resources - and in monitoring industrial licensing processes.
